What is a Neighborhood Association?
Before going *any* further, we want to reiterate: a Neighborhood Association is NOT an HOA.
Neighborhood associations are informal, voluntary groups aimed at fostering community and advocating for neighborhood interests. They have no power to collect mandatory dues, enforce rules, or maintain property.
HOAs (Homeowners Associations) are formal legal bodies established with a development. Membership is mandatory for property owners; HOAs collect dues, enforce community rules, and oversee the maintenance of shared amenities like parks or pools.
In short: Neighborhood associations build community; HOAs govern property standards and shared amenities. Participation and membership will always be optional, and we will never tell you about how high your lawn can be or what color your house can be.

We prioritize the safety of our neighborhood through various initiatives and activities. By working together and staying informed, we can create an environment where everyone feels secure and protected.
We love hosting community events!

We host monthly events at Heartwood Community Garden, regular clean ups, Halloween parties at the maze, and Spring Block parties.
Join the Fairview Neighborhood Association
Requirements for joining: you must live within our boundaries, listed below. The FNA includes all homes between Congress and South First between Williamson Creek to Stassney, including all homes in the Fairview Neighborhood as well as "The Birds."
We will verify the address you share below before approving your membership, and you will receive approval of membership via email within 2-3 business days of completing the form.
Beginning in Jan 1 2026, FNA Membership will last for one year after joining and must be renewed annually. We will begin accepting membership in summer 2025, and any member who joins before December 31st 2025 will have their membership extended automatically until the end of 2026.
